Welcome to the Jankovich Birtok
Jankovich Birtok is a family estate owned by the family Jankovich of over 2.000 hectares (ha.) of diverse landscape, based in South-West Hungary. It is managed by Westerheide Kft since 1996. Westerheide Kft has the know-how to perform state of the art integrated and sustainable farming. Presently the estate consists of:
- 1200 ha. of arable land, with its own drying and storage facilities
- 550 ha. of forest, of which 250 ha. have been planted since 1996
- 25 ha. of fruit orchard
- 100 pcs. Hereford cattle for meat production on 200 ha. of meadow
- 30 ha. of Short Rotation Coppice for biomass production
The estate is part of a 3.500 ha private hunting and riding area in one of the most bio-diverse regions of Europe.
Our aim is to manage and build an integrated and sustainable family estate for generations.
Under the Parokia brand we offer natural products from the estate.
